Karen Grimley – Birmingham
Karen began her career in Financial Services in 1976 and since then her career has developed markedly from providing administration services to managing compliance, paraplanning and supervising financial planners.
She holds the Certified Financial Planner accreditation and is one of a small percentage of paraplanners to hold this licence in the UK. She is also a Chartered Fellow member of the Chartered Investment and Securities Institute.
She now provides paraplanning support to Mark Rogers. Karen is a great advocate of client focussed financial planning and Lifetime Cashflow analysis, helping clients to achieve their goals with confidence and visibility.
Karen shares common interests with her family in that she has supported her husband as Chairman of the Sutton Coldfield Model Makers Society in helping with their annual Expo and other events and going to air shows. Her son aspires to be a Film & TV director and scriptwriter and this probably emanates from the fact that Karen likes to regularly see films and theatre plays. She also likes to go to outdoor productions of Shakespeare plays. Karen enjoys art in all mediums and attends a couple of art classes a month with local Lichfield artists. One of her pieces of work has been displayed in the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum.
