Wes Nixon – Plymouth
Wes is passionate about creating comprehensive financial plans for clients which enable them to achieve their life goals and objectives and to enjoy their wealth whilst planning to ensure that they never run out of funds. I particularly enjoy helping clients with complex financial planning needs, including professionals and business owners, and possesses further qualifications in all specialist areas of Financial Planning. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services. He had a long and distinguished career at Senior Management level and served on Succession’s board as the Group’s Compliance Director at the age of 38, overseeing the acquisition and integration of over 40 business, before deciding on a career change and putting his qualifications and experience into practice by becoming a Financial Planner in mid-2017. He was one of the country’s youngest Chartered Financial Planners when he achieved this status in 2010 and has since progressed to qualify as an investment fund manager. He is also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
When not working for clients, Wes enjoys music (he is an accomplished pianist), kayaking, sailing (having sailed the Atlantic multiple times) and cycling. He also enjoys helping others and works with a charity that enables visually impaired people to learn and improve their sailing skills
